TOP Broadcasts Expand in South America

It was only about a month since TOP broadcasts started in Bolivia and Peru and listeners had expressed their eagerness in listening to the program being hosted by Bro. Eli Soriano.

These are some of the excerpts of the e-mails read during last Saturday’s Thanksgiving:

After listening to some episodes of the TOP broadcasts, Carlos Barboza said, “It appears to be very interesting.”

In an episode where Bro. Eli discussed a particular topic, Oscar Fernandez Davila writes, “I liked it a lot and it is so true what you say about the name of God.”

Souls reaped as broadcasts continues

The March 18, 2011 Mass Baptism had added almost 1,000 souls to the Members of Church of God International’s (MCGI) growing flock.  The newly baptized members came from the chapters in Isabela, La Union, Lucena City, Naga City, Bacolod City, Tacloban City, Palawan, Butuan City, Davao City, Digos City, Zamboanga City and Cagayan de Oro City.   Baptism was also held last week in Davao City Provincial Jail.

A former female pastor from “Samahan ng Tatlong Persona Solo Inc.” is one of the newly baptized souls.

Meanwhile, just a week after The Old Path program started in Bolivia, letters from viewers start coming in.  One listener had admitted that he was skeptical before about the words of God in the Bible, but listening to Bro. Eli’s program took all his doubts away.

In addition to this, within just a month of broadcast in Portugal and Uruguay, natives of the countries who have heard the preaching of Bro. Eli are already candidates for baptism.
