2011 Music Summit produces 28 songs of praises

Music enthusiasts of the MCGI congregation, along with the entire Music Ministry, gather together in a day of praises, seminars, activities and presentations in the 2011 Music Summit at the ADD Convention Center last May 22, 2011.
Now on its 11th year, Music Summit aims to assemble all choral groups and musicians in the congregation.
For the first time, one of the activities included in the event is the on-the-spot songwriting contest. With the help of the Music Ministry Core and the ADD Chamber Orchestra, groups of participants were able to compose new songs and present it to the Katulong ng Pangangasiwa (KNPs) and Tagapangasiwang Pampook (TPs). All in all, twenty-eight new songs were presented.
In the night of the event, the Chorale Festival was held wherein eleven divisions participated. The entries of Bulacan and the National Capital Region tied in the Best Song and the Best Presentation awards.
